DANCE
For years I was a professional street dancer and dance teacher. I started from the age of 4 learning Dancehall, then moved into Street Dance when I was 8. From age 14 is when I joined my first ever dance crew.
I was lucky enough to dance in the times when there were so many dance shows and competitions like GWI (old school dancers will know).
I have performed for over 10 years in prestigious venues such as The Royal Opera House, The Barbican, Sadler’s Wells, Hammersmith Apollo, Stratford Theatre Royal and appeared on The Apprentice, Got To Dance and Street Dance AllStars The Movie.
I have had my own dance crew, dance school and have taught dance in schools and for companies across the UK and abroad.
Currently I teach dance at my church, which I've done for over 10 years and if I have time I will teach dance in schools. I love going to dance classes and lucky for me some of my best friends run their own. I don't have as much time as I used to dance, but when I get the chance I go for it!
Sadly YouTube didn't exit till 2007 so a lot of my dancing isn't online. I'm sure poor quality recordings exist on very old phones! There are some dancing clips on my Instagram
If you really want to know about my dance and writing journey, then check on out my blog which I started in 2011 and still blog to this day.
Here are a few links to me dancing!
